Harmonic Dampeners Ford 6 Cylinder

As you may have noticed we are moving forward on the Aussiespeed Street Supercharger Range of manifolds, hubs, pulleys and all the other components required to fit a supercharger to your Ford 6 cylinder engine. With there being a few different balancers in the Ford 6 Family we would like some feedback from customers world wide on the sizes and styles of different balancers used on the Ford 6 Cylinder engines. Once we identify what fits what we can continue with the hub adapter to complete the kit and get the supercharger drive snout sorted.

Pictured are 3 different balancers used on the 6 cylinder Ford engines, The first balancer is the smallest in diameter we have been told fits 144, 170 and possibly a 221.

The smallest in the family at just under 150mm the balancer has the v belt groove further back so it looks like the water pump pulley, alternator position and balancer must be used as a matched set.

At just over 175mm we have been told this single v balancer fits the 200 and 250.

This is the 250 twin pulley balancer that we have been told does the 250 crossflow and later engines and is available in both a 3 or 4 bolt centre hub.
